Nice mics! I use a v1 CAD E-100 on bass cabs with great success.

Cool,...I'm not a mic guru at all. Mecha Shiva's drummer and his friend/roommate (a bassist) are the DAWpimps. He tried a number of mics; the types of which all escape me (condensers, directionals), in a number of configurations and ultimately settled on the Betas for micing the cabs; which is counter intuitive since they are drum mics. They are pretty good at not picking up much bleed through.

Me too! Is the smaller, lighter letters notes on how the songs should sound? I think I spy an earth and a sabbath sounding song...

we actually named them right before that show. Like the day before. The bass player used to just call them to what he thought the songs reminded him of....which he was the only one who actually thought they sounded like haha. Those "tags" ended up sticking and that is how we remembered what they were called. We have to now remember the actual sound names.

and yes Sabbath is right. We also had earthless and Nebula as temporary song titles....tho the only one i would really agree with is one riff in the sabbath tagged one.

Nebula could be the most underrated band on earth.

On the Uni's library front lawn no less. Nice. Reminds me of Studio-A-Rama at Case Western Reserve University.

I saw this picture of Hendrix, all he used was a wah.... And not even the Jim Dunlop Jimi Hedrix wah, just some old thing.....
Jimi didn't realise the horrible tone suck we had to listen to every time he used that wah.

just got the dark horse and the cab and thought I should finally post in this thread.

I also have a fender ultra chorus, but I almost never play it so it doesn't get in the picture.
