Whisk, you are in the band.
AFAIK the church will be ran as a charity for the arts, will have ordained ministers and will be entirely legal. I have not seen it yet but chucks mad psyched about the space. Apparently it has some history. I'll share that when I know all the details.
Edit to add, If any doom roomers are ever out my way consider this an open invite to come by, drink beer (or ginger ale) eat BBQ and jam the fuck out

traded one of my sunn 215s for a Peavey folded 18...
How bout a sexy Peavey stack

I love my PA200, it would be my guitar head if I played guitar in a band, but it just doesnt have the juice to be a bass head at VEGA volume, I also wish it ran down to 2 ohms. But it makes an awesome practice bass head. I love the tone way better than my Acoustic 220, guess I need to trade the 220 for an old 400 series Peavey. My friend has one he got with the folded 18, but I couldnt get it out of his greedy mits.
Cant wait to pair this sucker up with my 2x18...15s just arent DOOM enough anymore.

I dunno man, none of those really speak to me but then again I like and play some weird shit. Does sweetwater have a used? Those Yamaha sg's are pretty sick.
What guitars are you comfortable with. IMO the gibson control scheme is excellent and if thats what you are used to and like you might want to stick with it.
Fender is more a simple approach, so If you don't like complex, thats better?
Of course if anyone were to offer to give me one of those, I'd be all over it. they are nice guits.

No used section unfortunately. I tend to like weird stuff too, they just don't have that outstanding of a selection. This is going to be my only guitar for the time being though, so its got to be a workhorse.
I'm thinking of spending the $200 gift card on a pedal or something and getting back the $850 and finding something else.

$850 would get you a pretty sweet Kramer aluminum necked beast. I'm really happy with the two basses I have, have not had a 6 string example but I would imagine they are equally good.

Ok, I just skim read , and you guys have pretty much turned me off the 900. Not a bad thing, I guess I'm just kind of trying to reconcile the fact that I'm never going to be able to afford a SLO. But I'm probably not gonna be satisfied with anything else.
New dilemma, do I want aussy's oath for sale over in BST or do I want an ape blaster?
kinda want both, but right now, wallet says "pick one". I've played my mates badascan and enjoyed....so its a tough call.
I want to say more but I'm on my phone and typing sucks. Ill drop in laters.

Get a pedal. Buy a guitar locally.
Also Floor used JCM900's. They're not without merit, they just don't sound like the 800's.

I'm probably one of the very few if not the only one on the planet who has both, so I'll throw my 2c at you.
Wanting both is the correct answer. Seeing as you are saying pick one, I'll try to do that.
I've had the oath longer and have jelled with it. I liked it enough to build that looper with volume controls so I could tame it and use it in my somewhat complex setup. It is truly an all or nothing pedal as is. It is meant to be an allways on amp crusher and it does that excessively well. I change up effects a lot and the wayy it came to me with no volume control, this was problematic. I loved what it does, which is steller, but could not use it. I found putting it before the pharoah helped with the volume but now I didn't have that pedal where I wanted it. Having its own dedicated loop in my board with an external volume fixed this for me. Now I can match levels no matter what pedal is where.
The ape blaster is a thick almost synthy at times rich and full sounding fuzz. Darren did one hell of a job with it and the one knob it has.com volume, is all you need. It does incorporate what I believe is a bass cut switch, whatever I like tonnage when it comes to low end so I never touch it. Without a doubt it is the most articulate fuzz I have ever used. That achieves that much fuzzy gain. Go listen to any of the live at jooniers tracks and that's the sound you will get through a clean amp. I really love it. Now when you mash it with a prharoah and then put an oath after. Omfg. So good. If I HAD to give up one, it'd be the oath. But i'd go down fighting to keep it.

Just wanted to add, yes typing on phones sucks, and I would totally recomend the revelation over the oath. You can always dime it if you want to, but you can't turn down the oath. Mine is 1/2 of the destroyer pedal I have and that things so cool I wouldn't sell it and get a revelation. Instead I went nuts and made that looper

I've been debating it and going back and forth. Make my mind up Doom Room. Sell my SG Standard and buy a 72 Tele Deluxe Reissue in Walnut finish or keep the SG? Yes or no? Its my backup guitar, since I mostly use my LP Custom.

that's tough...SG is very different to the LP...so its not like you are doubling up on the same tone...and the Tele is very different again...personally I'd stick with the SG, but that's mostly because I'm not a huge fan of Tele's but really like SG's.
what are you going to use the Tele for? i suspect its not going to be a back up as its so different...

You know what I'm going to say.
