Chankgeez wrote:UG, sounds fantastic so far, but you need to demo this much louder and with more fuzz. :doom:

That's right, now, he needs to send this to Dino to clone. :snax:
Thanks  . I know what you mean about the volume, the subtleties are lost....but there is a learning curve to having two amps on at once and not clipping the shit out of the iPad
Things will get loud....and fuzzy :thumb:
And thanks again for turning me onto this beauty :!!!:

Hey, ok so this one concentrates my efforts to understand the Reversed settings on the Clonemasters Alien Mother Filter. Put an assmaster in front for that dirty fun. When Reversed is engaged one of the outputs acts crazy, at some settings it just sounds muffled and maybe out of phase too. When it's "Reversed"ing it sounds dope as all get out.

Hello, just loaded new tape into a Roland RE-201 Space Echo. Yeah for me! For you I've taken the Clonemasters Alien Mother Filter and ran an assmaster on one output....and a seppuku pitch computer into the space echo on the other output.

Sounds cool dude. I like filtered fuzz, never thought about fuzzing filtered stuff and I'm gonna try that.

the alien mother filter has stereo outs so its possible to run different pedal chains on each output. that's what i've been having too much fun doing all day long :thumb: one of my first pedals was a Maestro MPF-1 parametric filter, and I still almost always have it in my chain with fuzz, so i've been a fan of filtering fuzz for a LONG time :joy:

Do you know how the RE-20 compares to the 201? I've been wondering if I actually made a good investment. Also, I want in your will, too. I'll settle for anything that cost over $200.

If you're happy with the re-20 then by all means enjoy the hell out of it. To me nothing beats a tape machine and all that entails :idk:

edit: i'll pencil you in too

Do you have one of those Korg monotrons to demo, dude? For those of us who are interested in ribboning on a budget?

 no shit i just this with my monotribe before I read your post! I don't have the monotron anymore, I gave it to my niece/nephews to learn on. I got them each a different Volca for christmas last year. They are 9 year old-ish twins and an 11 year old-ish older sister. They are all taking piano and guitar lessons now, i got them hooked on music when they were just pups  I'm getting them a drum set this year and something else without a volume control not sure what yet to keep my older Sister's shaking their heads in loving disapproval at me.

So here is the Korg Monotribe Analoge Ribbon synth, with Seppuku Pitch Computer and LAL Misty Cave. I was gonna link two monotribes together but i'm out of them type batteries.
