Ok Gutatone TZ-2 > Green muff.. This took four takes cuz my amp kept nocking over the recorder

It's funny when I turn the muff on it gets quieter on the recorder and I have the limiter off

In real life it gets a lot louder

For me, most of the year if I"m down and just want to blast stuff off the walls (literally), it's the venerable Ampeg Scrambler (clone these days, the RI didn't sound quite as good) into a Fender Blender. It is a mean, nasty razor of a thing with the Hot Rod Deluxe at 4+ on the dial, and the octave overtones interacting is fairly controllable/mutable with practice.
