Let's just say, if I were starting a variety show in the vein of

this is kind of my attitude toward this.
“doesn’t share a red cent” is what he said.
when his “design” was probably laid out like an old marvel comic:
“What if: Dan Armstrong had a flying V”

Guys the fact that it's a Flying V is a non issue, stop echoing that stupid argument.

Oh, shit.
Now I have so many questions about this interview.
i have no desire to watch this commercial but let's not act like eating horse meat is that weird.
from wikipedia:
Horse meat is the culinary name for meat cut from a horse. It is a major meat in only a few countries, notably in Central Asia, but it forms a significant part of the culinary traditions of many others, from Europe to South America to Asia. The top eight countries consume about 4.7 million horses a year. For the majority of humanity's early existence, wild horses were hunted as a source of protein.[1][2] It is slightly sweet, tender and low in fat.
Because of the role horses have played as companions and as workers, and ensuing concerns about the ethics of the horse slaughter process, it is a taboo food in some cultures, for example the Romani, whose culture contains a rich history of equine husbandry.[citation needed] These historical associations, as well as ritual and religion, led to the development of an aversion to the consumption of horse meat in some cultures. The horse is now given pet status by many in some parts of the Western world, particularly in the United States, United Kingdom, and Ireland, which further solidifies the taboo on eating its meat.[citation needed]

Yea, because it would be a Jaguar. I'd be so pissed if I got a Dan Armstrong jag with aluminum neck and then had to take pictures with copy cats on twitter with a face tat from being punched by System of a Down's bassist. Fuck that shit, except the placebo knobs

He's bananas man. I'm pretty sure he eats gopher meat when he can get it.

I recently got an aluminum bolt-on from Kevin and it didn't take that long. Like 3 months total? He originally said it'd be like 2 weeks to make, but I didn't really expect that to be met.
There was also a hurricane and he had a car accident in that frame of time. I still bugged him quite a bit and asked for updates almost every week. I'm kind of a pest but that's what I do for a living so I'm used to it.
Granted it's just a neck and not a full custom guitar. I like building my own guitars. If you email him enough maybe he'll get your builds done.

Let us not pretend that eating gopher meat is not a delicacy in wikipedia

My neck also took three months, with virtually no hassling. I've read a few bolt-on horror stories on here, but by and large it seems the necks are getting where they're going a lot faster than everything else.

Ha, what a joke. Hinds added a tremolo to a guitar that EGC designed for Bobby Anderson of Jack’s Mannequin two years before Hinds bought three of them for less than 2k combined. Drugs & alcohol bring out the best in people.
