Ooh, that does sound pretty good too! (… and those pedals are built in the town Tina Fey grew up in. )
(… and I might have to just read that book.)

It's two fuzz circuits in a box with a blend and a tone (bass rolloff i think?). the klon styling is them taking the piss.

Two fuzz circuits in parallel with a blend between the two—the treble knob interacts with both circuits differently, depending on where the blend knob happens to be set. It boosts the treble from one side while boosting the bass from the other. It's pretty wild, and you can get some really interesting fuzz out of it. The left side is some sort of JFET circuit that sounds a bit like a tone bender or maybe a shin-ei, the right side is a pretty straight big muff (a green one, iirc).
I'm a fan of running stuff in parallel, so it definitely plays to my interests.

I don't know anything about this company other than what I just heard in this video (and that this pedal is purple):

I dunno. It's a mystery to me. If I buy a dirt pedal this year, it will likely be another box that never gets talked about anymore. I think a schematic of the original SE version is online, though, so maybe one of these days I'll build something similar for myself.

Nobody here seems to talk about Toneczar or Cornish. Weird?
