I mean, they fall all the way from the sky and are hit by all the conditions on the way down, yet stay together. Sounds pretty strong to me. AMIRITE?
I think what you're looking for is calling someone a snowball. You know, when you get sucked someone off and spit it back into the other persons mouth? That's a better term.
You snowballing whore.
Boss is aight. I like Boss. I like all pedal though because I'm not a simpleton limited by a lack of imagination. There are hundreds of bands out there using boutique and mass produced pedals. Ever see a pedal board? Just look at them next time you're at a show. Even country dudes use boutique shit.
That being said. If you don't like what someone uses or whatever your dilemma is, then fucking use what you want. I don't care.
Wow, you're a sick fuck. Never heard of that term until now. And if you could read, read my title again snowflake....it says went from Boutique to MOSTLY boss. I still have a few choice boutiques on my board. Oh yeah, I forgot though, reading is so racist, classist, xenophobic and mysoginistic that the snowflakes like you can't do it very well anymore.

No, I spelled it right. Dick Hyman was a very famous (on the underground) pianist who wrote some of the earliest music for Moog synths. And yes, his 50 year old stuff kicks ass compared to the soy boys doing "ambient drone experimental postshoegoth" or whatever the fuck you call it nowadays.

Don't worry dude - no one is upset and threads get way more derailed than this around here.
All in all there are some fairly sensible comments amongst it all.
Lord knows I enjoy a good derailing, but the stabs at each other are really juvenile, but whatever, that's the interwebz.

The ring mod on the ME-50 is aces!
Treadle tuned and nasty as sin.
And....
Muse.
That's a "popular" band that uses oscillating fuzz in a musical way.
They're not my jam, but they can craft a pop song with some pretty unconventional tools.

My Boss MT-2 oscillates.

Soy boys, snowflakes...are you a Talkbass member just here to hate us?
You sound like perhaps you would be better served fucking yourself than writing on this forum. Perhaps you could fuck yourself with one of your Boss pedals? Lube it up and shove it straight up your asshole. I bet it'd fit.
Another suggestion. Perhaps eat shit and die?

Thanks. Muse is great. Thank you for posting this because I knew they used some unconventional sounds, but not the oscillating fuzz. See, it is possible to make music with unconventional sounds. I just don't agree that what passes for music nowadays actually is. To me, a lot of it sounds like bad temper tantrums from babies who were always told how special they were growing up.
