Everyone saw the new promo's right? I'm going to say each of the individual effects are nothing new. The magic of this pedal seems to be how you automate it and sort of "sequence" the effects. That said, not sure you can go from one effect to the other.
BASTL was working on something with the concept of effect sequencing not long ago. Thyme, it was called.
There is a logic to this one, according to the teaser, that acts independently apart from MIDI. I find this endearing. Like a fun little box.
I am not an expert. Could be wrong. Might buy, might not. Depending on mood.

Oh boy, the lack of a volume knob is the only thing stopping me pre-ordering. Will probably wait until a few people have them and see if anyone has any issues, otherwise this is pretty tempting.

Just watched the in-depth video. It does a lot of "what I'm looking for". Looping knob movements is alway such a huge plus for me (ala volca fm and dream sequence). I think the fuzz swell sounds cool as well. Hologram devices have this sort of blown out over modulated sound in their dsp that I really enjoy. The in-depth video reminded me of a lot of THE MOODY BLUES peak prog period (Days Of The Future Past, In Search Of The Lost Chord, A Question Of Balance) and some Kraut Rock Prog that I like (not CAN, KRAFTWERK, FAUST [one of my all time favorite bands] more like POPOL VUH, and some other no name mellotron stuff.
The real bummer for my wallet is not the price of this pedal but...I don't think the glitch section really overlaps with the other pedal I've been looking at so...I may get both (Charlie Foxtrot).
The BIGGEST selling point for me is envelope shapes. Never had that in a pedal. I have been looking for work around forever (volume pedals, compression/sustain etc.). I also bought a MALEKKO Sneak Attack (yes, I am a MALEKKO fan). So shapes are huge for me.
The synths sound great. I think the break away from the dichotomy of the super glitchy monosynth sounding pedals and the 'too synth pad like' pedals on the market. It Synth A sounds abrasive in a "nice" way. I already have a few monosynths and a few digital synths for pads so this pedal will fit in nicely as a synth (resynth) and a pedal.
This is all speculation from months of obsessing and a few videos. I am just a Jolly Dunce who saved his money for a Geiger counter Pro but will probably get this instead.

Unexpectedly & pleasantly surprised. This + the Ottobit Jr. = Tomita dreams. Dat price, though.
Edit: Embedded for my peeps.

I got my Dream Sequence for $365 but I waited a year to get that price. Part of me wants to do that this time around. Another part of me has never had something brand spanking new so I want to get busy with some new sounds!

Ok, this will be a bit "TGP" of me...but side jacks? Really?

Noice. That's a great price for a DS. If you can swing it, I'd go for it. Life's too short and it sounds like something you've been looking forward to for awhile. Besides, you'd probably have zero trouble moving it, especially if you're part of the initial run.
Imma wait a bit longer and see what's up. Might try to get a dealer discount if impressions are positive.

Thankfully, that video has done nothing to persuade me I need this pedal. There's something about the tone of it i just don't like, same goes for dream sequence.

y'alls is nuts. This is going to rule. I'm not a huge fan of the sound it creates itself but I think the magic is going to be in pairing this with other pedals. It's like a badass toolbox. Get drones out of pedals you never could before with the infinite sustain. The poly modes with note layering will be siiiick. The glitch mode, while sounding bleh, has a plethora (yes, plethora) of options. The swell only when you stop playing is going to inspire some creative ways of playing. Looping waveforms!! The storing of Glitch B into 6 segments that can be recalled with the Dimension knob is pretty damn cool as well as being able to recall them with an expression pedal. The chorus and vibrato stuff with the Swell feature is hella useful.

It's very pretty-sounding (#AmbientNotes), but where are all the fat, thumping bass, gritty synth sounds at?
It's a little too vanilla for me personally. As Ruiner points out, it will be cool for pairings, but that's a lot of real estate... Also, sidejacks on that beast? LMAO.

Just watched the video...while pretty nifty...likely to pass. I bought a Dream Sequence and sold it a week later...couldn't find a way to make it usable for me (it was fun no doubt but not for me).
The Synth section sounds real weak in my opinion, too...I think if that section blew me away I'd be more on the fence. And I already have a Revolver for glitchy glitches.

I'm with Ruiner, I think. I don't need one because software is a thing, but in an alternate reality where I liked playing live there would be a very nice spot for this after, say, the SP-303.

I actually really like the sounds of this thing. I'm trying to avoid buying shit unless it's to bend or create something myself, but this might join the Super Wiz & Outward in my list of exemptions to that policy.
