Watched Spectral last night. AKA - "how many things can we ripoff from Aliens" drinking game. Emily Mortimer is a capable and interesting actress, what is she doing in this shit?
Medici: Masters of Florence, barely made it through the first episode. How do you make a show about a family of murderous poisoner OG's boringAF?
Digging Luke Cage. Wife is too, surprisingly. Still can't wrap my head around the fact that one of the most progressive ("not the right word, but it's the first one that comes to mind") shows on the box is from fucking Disney?! Also, Method Man should be in everything.

Need to get all the Killer Bees on that track.

Update: Travelers was okay.
It wasn't the greatest show in the world, but it wasn't bad, either. Kept me entertained for a couple of days, at least.

we watched spectral a couple days ago. Movie was meh, but my fiancé was amazed that Moldova had a city. Showed my Moldovan coworker a still and he was like,"yeah we don't have that." And a quick google shows it was Budapest...
Started watching call my agent the other day which is like French ugly Betty.

Dammit.
I watched most of Season 1 and got distracted but meant to get back to it.
Seriously, though. What the fuck is wrong with the Netflix execs? They always cut top shows and put in a fuckton of syfy and lifetime reject films/tv shows like
anyone actually watches them.
Side note: currently watching Grand Tour on Am Prime.
It's okay in a "this show is kinda awful" way.
I'm a few episodes into The Expanse and I still don't really understand what the point of it is.

After pretty much going crazy because I went through all the shows that seemed like I'd actually like them, I started The Moaning of Life and it's perfect.
Karl Pilkington is the voice inside my head every time I go outside.

1. Farscape rules. That's all. "Source" it from elsewhere.
2. The expanse was pretty slow getting started. Stick with it - judging by the pacing, it should get real good around season 6. You can read the books while you wait.

There is. I was being just a little sarcastic, but the show only made it like half way through the first book, which itself took a while to coalesce.
