You Eurobros need that on your meet up shirts.

If you haven't ordered them already, get shirts made up.

Because shirts.

Also, goroth is coming back to country, ey.....

Good one.

I settled for the next best alternative: DOD FX20. Not nearly as unobtainable nor pricey, but chewy and lush enough to tame the GAS for a pricey booteek option :idk:

For DOD stuff in that realm, I'm partial to the 595, the only DOD pedal I've ever actually loved.

Keep considering getting one again (it's been years), and the last piece of my old touring rig I haven't bought.

Also the DOD Flangers and Choruses were all pretty cool, and some got weird, and some were for bass. There's gotta be something to mine there? If only they would come out with a new pedal...

i haven't tried the digitech but i would definitely buy a reissue FX86, same circuit and controls but with their current, not-super-shitty footswitches and power options. mine used to bleed in bypass so i could never gig with it but it sounded fucking legit.
also i could have sworn they hinted at a buzz box RI already.

i haven't read through the whole thread, so this is likely a repeat, but the PDS 20/20 would be at the top of my list.

So here's my real issue with reissued pedals. Remember the Bass Whammy getting reissued? Now if you were one of those folks that paid an enormous premium for that sucker you'd be kicking yourself right now if you haven't sold it. You can get the original now for around the price of the new one. LOL. So the market plummeted on resales of the original model. Not that it's a horrible thing since people were being RIDICULOUS with their pricing, but it would kind of suck if you were one of those people who paid those prices to get that Justin Chancellor tone (which btw, I never could achieve with the reissue because I'm not Justin. LOL. I found myself using it for other stuff that was fun).

Now the same kind of applies for the Akai Deep Impact, but IMO the original looks nicer and is less headache. The new one has a bunch of added features and shit but their price point is all sorts of fucked up with the quality of what they provide. They don't care though because they just want to make money. But the prices of the originals are still high for that mojo I guess, but I doubt many sell.

So it's a catch 22. If you were lucky enough to buy something stupid cheap and then you find out "well shit I can make some good money", go to list it then it turns out there's a reissue coming out, that kind of stinks. At the same time it's nice for all the new folks.

So I guess for me it's good and bad. It depends on how you think about it. I'm always looking at resale when I buy or trade for stuff. Not always trying to make a profit, but I don't want to lose much either.

Part of the reason why I mostly only do clones/reissues, I don't want to deal with the headache vintage stuff can bring.

Except for my rv-3, if that counts. But that's still cheap as hell.
