Oh, that sounds cool, I dig it, seems like you can actually tune out the scrambled slight octave up with the hi cut maybe.

It is the AFTER control that primarily dials in/out the crazy. However, all the controls are very interactive and that includes your guitar volume as part of that interactivity. pd~ deserves a lot of credit for the Carcosa, he was able take my concepts and make them reality. He's a total stud.

Who ended up getting on of these? 15% off at PGS right now. Most of the clips seem to emphasize the weirdness, which rules and I love, but can this bring the more normal doom?

Got one. I think it can doom, though I don't really do doom so I may not be the one to ask. It can do metric shit tons of cool, awesome sounds, including subtle to wild end-of-the-world shoe gaze and psych textures and fuzz overdrives. Not really an octave fuzz, but it can get a bit of the hint of scrambling like an underperforming octave fuzz.
For $85, fucking do it.
