I have buddy who constantly is on the watch for cheap, old LP-style and hollow/semi hollow guitars on eBay. I'll keep this thread in mind for whenever he strikes gold for you! I really would dig a semi hollow. Ever since I saw whoever it was doom out with a set of black winters in a drop tuned epi I've wanted one

Awesome, thank you.

Yeah, I haven't been playing at stupid loud volumes lately. So, fully hollow guitars are pretty workable for me right now. Plus they tend to sound fantastic. :idk:

for some reason the only people that like my pickup "demos" are you guys.. it's probably because my not being a guitarist robs me of some illusive kvlt status or something… and so I tend to delete stuff some times...

Yeah man!! Leiden is awesome, it's like the prettiest town. My semester has ended and I'm back to Stockholm, only going back for a really annoying resit. 3 October in Leiden is crazy fun. I already miss the place to be honest

Do they ever. Didn't see a single guitar shop though

Speaking of guitar shops, I really dig the look of this ibanez. Love the natural-ish finish. It's ridiculously cheap as well

i'll let you know the next time i'm coming--maybe we can get a coffee or beer if you're around. there's a cool guitar luthier/shop in amsterdam you may have heard of called rebel relic:

http://www.rebelrelic.com/

and one just across the street:

http://www.deplug.nl/

they're just to the east of the museumplein--easy to get to (tram 16 or 24).

Sadly, my study period there is over. However, if anyone's travels brings them to Stockholm now, or Brussels next fall I'll have a beer or coffe and talk about gear or whatever with you : :hello:
