I'll have a demo of it done in a couple weeks.
One thing that really stuck out to me after a few jams is that Caroline really spent a lot of time on the core sound of the reverb. It's natural to judge a pedal by its features, but that is only half of what makes a pedal special.
Also, I love momentary everything and the Havoc switch is pretty versatile. It can do swells / runaway oscillations, but it can also be used to create and hold a sound beneath your playing.
And all of the controls are really interactive.
THERE YA GO
Yes. That addresses my two questions. How is the actual quality of it's sound, and does the havoc switch do things I want (if I just did a one second ramp up to feedback that would be ok, but a little limited.) I'm really stoked.
There was just some unintentional butt hurt that spawned some pages. No harm in that really, at least as far as I can see.

The Size knob affects how the Havok responds.
Also, I'll go ahead and take responsibility for the butt hurt.

Size knob. That's cool. I'm hoping I out signal affects it too. I'm hoping I can slam it with a boost and get nearly instant drama or have a cleanish signal and it be more slow/subtle.

I realize that my post seemed exasperated, but I feel the "is this made by Christians and if so fuck 'em" has been done to death as of late. I see both sides of the argument, it just seems kinda backwards to judge the quality of a pedal by the faith of the builder when I feel it is much more appropriate to judge a person's faith by the quality of their pedals.
Blatantly ripped off circuit design, where is your god now?!?!

Whit? I think you have the wrong thread. Or is Caroline another christian company?
I have no idea what is happening anymore.

It's spreading to several threads now. At least three that I know of (counting the original). Usually I'm all for a good derail but this one is causing some bad feelings.
Caroline has definitely been on my radar lately. Wish I'd paid more attention to them earlier. Their pedals look really nice too. I'm pretty much maxed out on reverbs right now though. Maybe if I don't really mesh with the Cadavernous I just got I'll flip it and try one of these.

This seems like it would be killer pre-dirt. Maybe push the dirt in a different way than a clean verb would, but maybe retain some clarity and attack since the dry signal stays clean.

I read the first six pages of this thread while I was poopin earlier and there is a lot of that shit in there. I also realize that I'm only making it worse by continuing to talk about it, I really just wanted to apologize for shitting all over the "mid earth crisis" jokes that were actually taking this thread in a positive direction.
Sorry dudes, I'm day one of seven for family thanksgiving '15 and I already regret not showing up Thursday afternoon and leaving Thursday late afternoon.

It's been a couple weeks since an entry here. Anybody spent significant time with the Meteore in the interim? I'd be curious to hear thoughts. Thanks!

Mid-life Earth Crisis?
I was mid bong rip when I saw this and snorted so hard I got a mouthful of bong water. Goddammit Earth Crisis jokes never cease to be funny.
Reading bong rip and Earth Crisis in the same sentence
Also, that things sounds good to me. That's pretty much what I hear in my head if I were to make one of these.

I'm thinking about grabbing one to replace my RM-1N for more standard applications so I can move it to my drone/noise board. It seems like it would be really rad pre dirt with that new OBNE or a Procession at the end of the chain.
When does it actually come out though?? It's still not on their website other than preorders.
