I meant sale as in its just been put in Stock. Then again, It's also cheap since the UK shot it's foot yesterday and the pound is as low as it has been in almost 30 years. :idk:

The euro is stronger than it's been in a while thanks to the collapse of the pound.

isn't the judder like $360 after import duties?

I ended up paying $290 (shipping incl) for a used one, shipped from London to Chicago.

On another note, I've never had a package stopped by customs/been charged duties on anything. Have I just been lucky or is it more uncommon of an occurrence than the internet would lead me to believe?

It's because he (mwfx) ships FedEx and they pass the charge of hiring a customs officer on to the customer!

USPS/US Customs do have the ability to charge duties for an item over 200 (iirc) but since carriers don't do COD any more, it is more of a pain than it is worth...they have to mail you a letter within 45 days then you have to bring cash to a post office. Pretty much if it is for personal use, shouldn't be a problem.

FedEx,DHL, UPS all charge for their import costs.

Is there a circuit difference between the "new design" and "big metal" versions of the Judder? Cannot find any info on this.

AFAIK there should be no difference besides graphic. The only difference in Big Metal Judder's is that the batch I bought from (like a year ago or more) have a small opening on the bottom that you can use to adjust the modulation trimpot without removing the backplate.
