I would love to hear a rundown on how you have created some of the textures and sounds on the album.

I can't tell you too much about what Eivind used, but as for me:

1. Pictor A (most kek)
(I'm pretty sure the staircasing/pulsating guitar is from Eivind's old Wizard of Pitch. This was the first track we finished, like a year ago)
Low drone: A bass riff slowed down in CT5's mode 3 into No Memory into Space (glitchy/random tremolo preset of sorts). Change in speed and mix on the CT5+time on No Mem+mix on Space is what I'm up to.
Bass: The velcro-y, synthy, fuzzy sounds that are introduced around 6 minutes in is Seppuku Junk Tone into RMA Dirty Doper, in front of the previously mentioned pedals.

2. Pew Pew
Bass: TAFM only until the first slow part begins, when I kick on a dirty BitQuest ringmod with expression for the frequency for the rest of the track, going from tremolo speeds to full on ringmod.

3. Cosmic Caravan
Bass:
First part: Meatbox
Second part: Note held with the Raptio and slightly pushed out of phase so that it pulsates. Synth engine on the Pitchfactor into BitQuest clean reverb for the stuff happening underneath the drone and guitar.
Third part: Fuzz-E-Cat (yes, that pedal is underrated as fuck!) into Meatbox (glichy subs)

4. Ekpyrotic Bounce
First part -
Drone: LAL MNP-2 into F.13 flanger (for some rhythm) into Memory Loss (for instability).
Synth: Low battery Pocket Piano into Kompakt Kassette + AniMoog app (and a bit of CT5 around 3:30 in)
Both go through Echo Degrader + BitQuest in reverb mode
Second part -
Drums: DM-2 app into Moog MF-102 (and a bit of CT5 every once in a while)
Bass: TAFM + Raptio + Meatbox for the most part, plus some freaky pitch shifted delay from the Nemesis towards the end

Pictor A (most kek)
The background thingy is a chord that is stuttered with the Raptio through the Wizard of Pitch cross fading at a slightly different speed so they drift in and out of sync. Towards the end I further mess with the speed and pitch settings of both pedals. The solonoisethingamajig is Super Oscillo > Possessed > AD-9.

Pew Pew
Super Oscillo > Raptio for stutters here and there > AD-9. There are some details in the background where I use the Possessed instead of the Raptio for crazier stutter action.

Cosmic Caravan
First part is Super Oscillo > AD-9. Second part is Raptio freezing a chord, with me playing some clean guitar on top, all into the AD4096. Last part is the She Fuzz making broken gameboy toanz into the AD-9, ending with some Raptio weirdness.

Ekpyrotic Bounce
First half is the Super Oscillo providing a low drone into the Goodbye 24 set for octave down, with some suboctave bends and shit, into the AD4096. Second half begins with Super Oscillo set for fuzzdrive into octave down GB24. Then I kick the AD4096 on, set the Super Oscillo for a moar broken fuzztoan, and play around with reverse pitch delay from the GB24 and Raptio stutters. Some of it is played clean as well. The end is full on oscillo fun into AD4096.

So I played a bit of this record for my guitarist roommate.

"Is this one of those albums recorded out of sounds from space?"
