To be fair, they never turned the wobble knob above 1:00 or so. It's possible it can get crazy if you turned that knob way up. But they're not going to put that in a demo, that would make all of the blooz lawyers run for their fainting couches. Strymon knows where their bread is buttered.
Wobble is full at about 1:30 in the Flanger demo
Still not really wobbly enough
Very underwhelmed by this
But DarkAxel speaks the truth:

I think any pedal can be super lame if you do generic cheesy lame shitmusic with it, so Deco can still be pretty cool if used for anything else :)

Seriously, can't someone buy this and make a better demo of it? UG?

Dunno about the Strymon. Their stuff has never really peaked my interest; I don't need tons of possibilities, I just need a couple of sounds that I like. That tone at 1:30 in the first of the demos posted by Doctor X I really like, but the rest of it didn't really interest me.

I don't think it sounds that bad, i'm sure in other applications it would work much better.

I dunno, the thing with Strymon for me is that it sounds pretty nice recorded but if I play through it myself I don't really feel it, it just doesn't do anything for me and doesn't inspire me, this thing certainly doesn't seem to be an exception.

Timeline first and foremost, it had some okay sounds, tried the Blue Sky and hated it, tried the Mobius, didn't like it, it all just sounds so flat and generic.
With the recording bit I meant the Strymon demo's, they sound really good, Kayzer makes it sound pretty okay too (still a bit boring, I think he does better stuff with other pedals), but everything I heard from anybody else so far doesn't sound that great, it seems to lack something.

i think i could put this deco on a rhodes and play it through a beater tube amp and get all sorts of texas-grip hand jobs.

guitar, probably no.

Anyone else realize they keep stepping on both switches at once? Makes me wonder what they sound like independently...

Try the second and third videos, if my head was clear enough while watching them I think they singled out both functions in there.
