I'm out of town, but hopefully mine arrived today as well. I didn't see any tracking info with the shipping confirmation.

Initial thoughts: It's cool. Not breathtaking, but I don't know what would be. :idk:
Given that I have zero experience with "oil can" type delays, it seems, to me, like a real murky, looming kind of sound.
Real nice washy feel to it. Not much articulation to be had. Granted, I'm not used to using exceptionally dark delays.
"Vintage" setting, described as gainier, feels more dense than the "Modern" settings (slightly )more distinct attacks.
To my ear, the Fluid knob seems to effect the rate of the modulation more so than the depth.
The "Organ" mode is a cool option and a cool vibrato type sound.

Having no other effects that can simulate this type of delay, I think it is a pretty cool pedal.

I really want one, but am split between No Memory, Kilobyte, and Black Fountain. I know they are all different, but with limited demos and no option to try in person I just think of them all as delays that sound great and are interesting, and are made by people that I want to support. I just want to try all three and keep my favorite two... Can't really see having more than two delays on my board and anything not on the board never gets used.

It's just a phase. You'll grow out of it, and you might want to just buy all three so you'll be ready when the time comes.

I remember when I only had two delays.

Gas was still under a buck a gallon, hair metal was still big, and dinosaurs walked the earth.

Ha well I mostly can't see it because I like the smallish size of my board and all three won't fit. And I have a toddler around the house, so if all the gear can't be packed up quickly when I'm don't it is a no go. I think I will try the kilobyte and black fountain. See which ones grab my imagination more. :idk:

Entirely too rational.

Found this article on oil can delays. Pretty interesting stuff:

This thread led me to getting this Morley EVO 1 Oil Can Echo Delay in the mail today. Couldn't be more impressed with the sound quality. :thumb:

I got mine yesterday and I really like it so far. It sounds really good with a mild OD in front of it and a chorus after. I used a TS9>Black Fountain>Corona Chorus. There are a ton of options with the 3 modes and the ability to get some modulation on the delays as well. I am very impressed so far. I can't wait to combo some more pedals with it.

I should also mention, for what it's worth, it's a very dark delay. It's probably rolled off around 500hz.
