So I've decided 50 watts isn't going to cut it. Love the Sound City, but it definitely compresses too much at high volumes for what I'm looking for (shoulda known, but I definitely don't regret trading for it). That's a pretty cool trade, I had a bassman like that for a while. Be aware though, they compress and get distorted really early as well.

find a sucker that will trade a nmv v4 + cash for it

That's a pretty cool trade, I had a bassman like that for a while. Be aware though, they compress and get distorted really early as well.

Sad to hear about the Sound City. If I had something worthy of trading I'd maybe consider it.

Yeah I wish I could afford to sit on rad gear that I'm not actively using cuz I know I'll miss this amp down the road

If you can grab that V4 that's what I would do for sure. I just sold my bassman to get one.
