I know that I'm interested in participating but, based on the amount of time I've been around and my lurk to post ratio I'm certainly a hard sell. All things considered, I'm willing to provide any necessary details I can to make things work on my end.

Alright, I suppose I'm in the position to give The Word on this.
A Secret Santa almost didn't happen this year. As detailed as I'll get: we've had trouble in the past and some iffy...things happen.
There are some risks, but if there are enough people interested, we'll do it. I'll do everything I can to prevent a problem.
--It's got to be moderated...and managed by a non-participating moderator.
--There's going to be a steep minimum post count to participate.
--You have to follow through, and in a timely manner. Get something, give something.
--If you disappear on someone, you'll get banned, and if needed, I'll use your IP addresses and your physical address to pressure you into giving the gift (or giving yours back).
I'll get an official thing going, with full rules...THEN we'll see how many people we have and if it's worth doing.

I've always lagged the post counts since joining but I think I'm in range this year.
So what is the range of lame to adequate to cool to god-head for successfully timely shipping on one's Santa duties? If I'm in, I don't want somebody to suffer for me drawing them.
