I'm pretty relieved that the problems I was having with the LPB-1 weren't in my head.

I'm still confused as to where this cap in the signal path info comes from? It has true bypass and as far as i'm aware the only changes were some to the power filtering with ferrite beads.

Don't like the artwork? Sand it off, and paint/etch/sticker the box yourself. Voila!
Don't like the jacks/pots/knobs? Spend a couple bucks and switch them out. No biggie.
