so, what youre saying is, i have nothing to worry about? because im sweatin bullets a little over here.
currently waiting for a local cop to shop up so i can file a police report. the dispatcher seemed to take it really seriously.

I do believe you have more of a case against him for the threats and harassment, in fact if he calls again, tell him you're going to record it plus any future calls and take it to the police, see how fast he backs the fuck down.
Plus, call him piss lips... don't tell him I told you to.

Just tell the officer "I got a lil freaked out, sorry to waste your time"... If he's there longer than 7 minutes you are doing it wrong...
There is no case here and I thought that we were all better than this...

i dont know if it has anything to do with being "better than this", but i mean, the dude threatened to hurt me. i dont know what im supposed to do really. ive never been in this situation so im not taking it super lightly, ya know?
and ive been in plenty of scuffles in high school. ive got big hands so if i ever landed a punch with any power behind it, the fight was usually over. so i can handle myself. but i dont wanna be looking over my shoulder, this guy seems legit insane. like, obsessive insane.

If nothing else, the police report will help you if he does try to go after you legally.
Not that I'm a gun owner or advocate, but their "better to have it and never need it" maxim applies here.

There's a psychiatric trick, i've used it before and it works, several times with hilarious consequences. Throw someone off by chatting random shit, he'll probably get freaked and it means nothing so you can't get in trouble, start talking about the plants in your garden or summit and just ignore everything he says, he'll just get bored and you've done nothing wrong, just talked about your azaleas
