the 'hearing knob' is a master volume (overall signal after the mix control) and is at unity volume below noon regardless of how i set it in my guitar rig. i found in a line level chain i had to set it higher for unity.
tbh it doesn't sound compressed at all to me,
dry signal sounds identical and wet signal doesn't seem different as far as compression and tone go it just gets a bit grainy and glitchy.
someone else might wanna confirm but from my experience it's got plenty of volume and doesn't add any noticeable compression.
just what I wanted to hear. THANKS!

There are a bunch of artifacts that come from having such short samples playing fast but its part of the sound of the pedal.

Cool demo.
I'd love to get a glitch pedal like that, I do like all the ones I've listened so far (revolver, ct5, mwfxs, nautilus) but the Possessed sounds like a real glitch pedal.
However, I can't justify the price or the space it might take on my board for a one-trick pony pedal that I won't be using that much, right? RIGHT?

It's actually a two trick pony, you can set it up as an arpeggiator

so you are actually saving space by having it

hmmm! didn't know that. I'm getting a pitchfactor soon for arpeggiator, micropitch and that trippy stuff... so... damn.

That's just inspiring. Can't wait for mine! It even made me give the 46 a break and fuzz out with my 88 and raptio this morning.

i wouldn't compare the 'arpeggiator' functionality to a pitchfactor or anything, but the possessed is something i keep finding more and more uses for. it's something worth trying out because it might seem a little gimmicky but it's pretty inspirational at the same time. i definitely used the revolver, GB24 etc less often when i had those and they're way more 'musical' (whatever that means).
i think Eivind's video is the best so far at showing all the different way's it can integrate into guitar playing, you can dial back the randomness at lot or you can run loops into it and play the knobs with awesome results, lots of possibilities with the right mindset.

Thanks guys.
About it being gimmicky/not something you would use often/one-trick pony: I think this depends on what you're going to do with it. I use a lot of glitchy stuff in my music, and the Raptio is probably one of the effects I use the most on my tracks. My music might very well be gimmicky because of that, but hey, it at least made a lot of sense for me to get the Possessed as well. Together they do a lot of stuff that I find myself using (relatively) often. Not an always on pedal by any stretch, but I don't have many/any of those to begin with. I think most pedals are one-trick ponys in a way - a delay "only" creates echos, a fuzz "only" gives you a... well, fuzzy tone etc. It all depends on what you need/want, and what you're going to use it for. I wouldn't buy the Possessed if it was something I was going to use for one part of one track, and only fuck around with now and again. But if this type of glitch is something you'd use often in your music/sweet ass jamz, then I say buy it and never look back.

mine seems to be broken
still functions as normal but the output is way low, with the volume turned all the way up it's still not quite at unity gain whereas before it was at unity around 10:30ish
anyone else had any similar problems? i poked around inside but no visible problems, the board is gooped in place to the inside of the enclosure so i can't check some of the connections

I remember reading that that was a problem with old Possessed units, but should be fixed now? I know mine isn't at unity gain until like noon or so.

I think UG had some problems with a few of his MASF pedals. He might lead you in the right direction. I think it was his possessed too.
