the actual bit crushing is really shitty. it's just white noise, plays whether you're playing or not. but as a sample rate reducer it's got some good stuff. and that's really what i want out of crushing, is the sample rate reduction.

Whoa. "Auteziq-Twinpusher" was our working title for one of our songs, until we decided it would be embarrassing to be that outright about our influences. Random awesome coincidence.

Is this replacing the Malekko Bit for you? Does it do better at maintaining your volume than the Bit did?

Very promising indeed. I like.

so far, haven't tried it with my drummer, it seems to not lose any volume or tones when engaged. rolling the mix all the way clean on the Bit was a noticeable difference from on/off, with the LoFi it seems the same doing that n

i want to get a newer Bit now that he said he fixed the tone/volume drop and A/B them. i think the Bit had more range on the SRR, and it's funny but a little worrisome that they swapped the wiring (or screen printing) for the Sample and Bit knobs. i don't know much about Mooer and their reliability, but for a hundy it gets pretty close to the Bug.

not quite there, but it sounds good.

yo check it...

using my Heliotrope for this cool weir texture... i turn the Helio on at 1:18

the whole thing is just an improvisation to mess around with my modulation

I recommend waiting for the Small Stone action at 2:40 (it starts earlier, but from there it really shines)... i love Small Stone -> Helio :)

damnit. now i DO want one of those. meanie.

hurm. toss up between grabbing a Bit or that to compare to the Mooer. do you feel like there's any toan or volume derping when you click on the Duck? or just normal Good Times Meow Pa-pow like most well made pedz?
