Ooooooooooooooooooooh yeah. If I had a ton of money, I'd have a huge shoe collection.
Retired my Sambas seen here:

Gonna miss those guys. They were a bit narrow, though......looking to pic some of these up:

Something I can wear at the office while counseling but also while on stage. I'd totally just rock the Sambas again but I need something a tad wider.

I've worn these from October to May for the last 4 years. In the summer I usually buy a new pair of the disposable garbage shoes you guys are all excited about.

I've had those "disposable garbage shoes" with the green laces as long as your boots... they've outlived a pair of danner steel toes... speaking of which.. I like "disposable garbage shoes" mainly because I have to wear fucking steeltoes for my day job... it's funny I use to wear boats all the time intill I had to work in them all day... now when I don't have to I don't wear the things...

I'm completely addicted the PF Flyers Number 5 and have been for a solid 4 years now. Love 'em soooooo much more than Converse/Vans/Whatever and have a ridic assortment of colors/materials/etc, probably the one thing I buy with less restriction than pedals. Just crumble every time I see a new pair I like online and click the "buy now" button like some kinda mindless zombie that MUST HAVE SHOES! I've calmed it lately but it took some real focus and will power.

When you wore boots all the time you didn't have a job? Are you sure they weren't slippers?

Been cycling through the same three things for the better part of two decades.
Usually some discounted Docs, or Doc-alikes. Kinda like this. Zipper because I'm even too lazy for eight eyelets.

Plus whatever simple black sneakers are the cheapest, then I stitch-pick the inevitable obnoxiously-coloured logos off because I don't want my feet to be advertising space.
Plus some worn out safety boots with holes in the leather over the steel toes.
I likes what I likes.

Mostly skate shoes here. I've got a pair of merrels for hiking/camping, and my tux shoes, but other than that its been the same pair of converse for the last four years. But they are starting to come apart around the whole shoes so I got some Vox ones. Not bad so far. I hope they last longer than my stupid ass vans did.

dude, that doesn't sound like tru macbeths

i know people who've had macbeths for three or two years
but you know... there are people who had converse for a week and they fucked up
also i've heard that leather macbeths suck and don't last for long at all... so it's about Matthews and Manchesters and shit
to be honest - i have Converse just because i got them on 50% sale

but i might bite the bullet this year...

Are there any sneakers still made in the US? I know Vans and PFs used to be but aren't anymore, not sure what else might be.
