Unfortunately, I'm a forgetful bitch and forgot one pedal at the practice space because I let it to our guitarist. It's this bad boy, right here:

Packed up all my pedals last night because I'm moving in a few days. I need to sort through a few of them and either fix or trash them, some are beyond selling, some just sit. Didn't realize I had this many... PTJr is my board for size reference

Heh I've sold most of my personal stuff that I had Dirge-wise- some Cavedwellers and Officers Rub A Dub and your protos!

THAT SOVTEK IS GOING TO MY GRAVE!

After being apart with it for about a month and getting a new guitar in the process, I've noticed that it REALLY sucks tone. Like horribly. Not really so much with the Jaguar, but with the Obstructures it's like HORRIBLY noticible. Going to probably use a true bypass loop for it so I don't get anymore tone suck

i may be in the minority here, but i feel like that is part of the charm of the big muff. yeah, my v3 cuts a little bit of the high end, even when bypassed. yeah, there is even a tiny little big of signal bleed-through when i hit it hard. that is just part of "my sound", though... shit would be boring if everybody's "tone" was sterile and uniform.

Yeah the tone suck really doesn't affect the Jaguar in a way that I mind, but with my Obstructures it DESTROYS so much of my low end and volume of the guitar that it sounds like I've got the volume almost completely rolled off on my guitar. It's like a HUGE obnoxious difference for whatever reason.

I used to feel that way about crybabys, yeah they sucked my tone but I always made up for it on the back end
Then one day you take your wah out of your chain and think your amp sucks, and realize you had EQ'd for the wah

Still worth it in some respects if it becomes part of your sound, but it can definately be annoying if you use different amps or plug straight in (like that ever happens)
