I believe I've made my feelings plain on clean blend.

Well... phasers already have clean signal blended, guessing that's just a mix control for more vibratoey/weaker phaseing.
Wouldn't really call that a clean blend so much.

Right, I get that the phaser effect is blended with a clean signal by definition to get the cancellation.

I mean, usually you can go subtle by turning down the feedback/regen/whatever-they-call-it knob. But fuck subtle modulation.

Don't just puss out by adding a clean blend and calling it a day. Goddamn I fucking hate that stacked clean+fizzy sound. Just stop. I don't care if Muse does it.

+1. I put a blend on a pedal because somebody convinced me to do it, and then nobody bought it.

Which is funny, because I actually like the way you did the blend on my HOTD

That's because you didn't put it on the right pedal.

Moses with clean blend?

You'll totally sell like a million of those. Everybody needs one.

would the translucent anti solar radiation gold paint even allow a clean blend to exist? sounds like too much for one pedal man.

 that's so funny.

:joy: I just thought about the ultimate TGP troll product... put a clean blend on a transparent od. Could you imagine a clean blend on a Timmy?!?!??! The idea is so dumb it just might actually sell. mwahahahaaaa!

Could be worse. They could use those Marshall style knobs. Now those look hideous on a pedal. They barely look good on Marshall amps.

The trend of having pedals in the first place! It annoys the crap out of me.

Lots of others but I might tread on too many toes   :yay:

I really like using pedals with clean blends with synths and such. Twiddling knobs to fade is different timbres is the shit. HOWEVER, wet/dry mix knobs suck. Have a separate control for clean volume and the effected signal is so much easier to control.

I highly disagree with this entire statement. I LIKE MY SUBMOD, THANK YOU.

Off topic: I bought my first fuzz pedal (Aenima) because of your youtube demo

I like these tiny pedals - like 1 inch wide - but then you have to stick a jackplug in each side of it, ruining any space-saving you had going! What's that all about then?!
But the Malekko vibrato is a major achievement...

no no no! it has nothing to do with subtle. most of the phasers I like the sound of I lose too much definition at times, sure a big wall of phasey thunder is cool sometimes but not always. I can't help wanting a multilayered sound!

sorry dude have to agree... I don't use the blend on the HOTD.. I think blends have their place and do use them but it really depends on what the fuzz it self sounds like, a big midheavy fuzz doesn't really need a blend as much as a tone control! actually if I was to buy my HOTD again I'd try and talk you into replacing the blend with a tone control... and a front boost...
