I do but you can't really see the board. It was a dual pedal, right when I had gotten into the swing of things, and the inside of the pedal looks like spaghetti

SHO in a 1590a is going to be the cheapest pedal that you could get a lot of use out of IMO.

cool. i'm going to start trying some stuff on vero, but i'm a little confused about the layouts that i'm seeing in regards to wiring jacks and pots.
for example.. i'm looking through some of tagboard effect's selection, and i come across a picture like this:

this is great because it shows me where all the wires going to the pots need to be (although still doesn't help me with wiring jacks/bypass)...
but then i see a picture like this and i'm confused as to what the clean As and Bs are referring to.

i also don't understand how to wire a switch to these, or even jacks, completely.
i don't plan on making either of these, by the way, just using them as an example.

Those layouts kinda just assume you already know how to do the rest of the wiring. If you look on the site though, there is a layout posted for the rest of the wiring. Look on the little menu on the right for it. After a while you'll just understand how it works and you won't need to look at a picture for that.
The A and B is for a dual gang pot. It's basically two pots turned by one shaft.

so on a veroboard layout, i notice most don't have the output labeled... is the output always opposite the input? here's what i'm looking at. trying to figure out where the wire to volume 2 comes from.

What that means is volume 2 is the output of the effect that goes to the switch. So volume 1 goes to ground, volume 2 goes to the switch (fx output in other words), and volume 3 connects where it says on the layout.

so when i connect a ground wire to the dc jack, it's going to come from volume 1?
and with the LED, the anode goes to volume 1 as well?
