It almost reminds me of a Ghost Echo but with modulation and no attack delay. Cool!

The audio is pretty un-forgiving in this demo, and I don't mean my shit playing.
In person, it's much thicker, lush and versatile. Although it can do subtle reverb very well, this demo doesn't pick up nearly all the wet signal, so if you think this sounds bad, you'll think the pedal sounds good in person. If you think this sounds good, you'll cum your pants in person.

That is an amazing demo. Great demonstration of the modulation. I've never been so stoked on reverb before.

Ok, so I got my Supermoon today courtesy of the excellent MEC and this thing sounds fucking delicious.

The feature I really like, is when the mix is all the way up it's a 1:1 ratio, the verb is not completely taking over your clean signal. TASTY.

Question for the others that own it...... do you experience a little noise (similar to a clipped signal) when everything is dimed on the controls?
It sounds to me like the verb, and it goes away if I back off the decay or roll back my volume a little.

Yes!
Its a neat pedal. The reverb is designed not to compete with your dry signal or make it all shitty at extreme settings. But!

Hrmm... Clipping shouldn't happen.
What kind of guitar are you using?

If its a really hot guitar, its possible that you are driving the reverb circuit just over the point of self-oscillation and causing it to clip. This theory is supported by the symptom only exhibiting itself when the Decay control and guitar volume are dimed (the Decay will flirt with, and gently kiss the threshold of self-oscillation when dimed; a super hot signal may push it into that realm at max settings).

This thing sounds amazing, and I haven't even cranked it yet (tonight at the studio it will get a good workout) but it sounds heavenly

I tried it with my ESP custom shop with passive PU's (JB and 59) and my other ESP's with an EMG 81/85 set. Yes, they're both pretty hot signals. I only hear the slight clipping noise with the controls dimed, but if I back off it disappears. (as well as rolling back my guitar volume slightly)

Oh, and it sounds doubly orgasmic with my Mod Zero

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say the pickups are just driving your SuperMoon into self-oscillation (not a good sound).
I generally design with the philosophy of: allow everything to work to 110% of its capability, then add 10% because someone will always want more!

Now I don't know if I want modulation or shimmerings...I imagine it's the same with the modulation switched out for shimmer? If only a switch existed that allowed one box to combined that...

FWIW, SuperMoons are on special right now ($139.95 + shipping) as the shop is moving and pedals won't ship until the end of the month.

Just an update....it was the signal from my geets that was distorting the Supermoon.

Tried my lower output PU's and it works bewwwwtiful
