i prefer flats, but never had problems getting hella dubby with roundwounds by rolling off the tone control on the bass (like, to about 2) and picking closer to the end of the fretboard.

I'm really happy with my stringed thingers now. Just have to get my Jaguar set up, it's getting pretty bad. Whenever I play a chord the D and B string pop out of the nut

My Xaviere has this problem where the G string is so out of intonation that open chords sound out of tune. It's intonation screw is so stripped that I'd be hard pressed to get it out, but it kind of needs a new bridge period.

I had the same problem with the exact same string on one of my old guitars. It's so aggravating!

I also improved my opinion of my HH Stratocaster by raising the pickup height and putting it in Eb tuning (up from Db). Still a bit too loose sounding but it's enough of an improvement that I'm now looking to mod it rather than sell it outright.

I love my SG 61, I love my older 80's SG as a backup, and I love my fruity 6 string Ibanez bass....
I might like to get a strat someday maybe for fun times but that's about it....

How does that work? Put your deposit down and pay off the balance once it's done? Can you make payments along the way?

yahpers!
when i bought mines, i paid like $700 or $800 at first i think? they quoted me 3 or 4 months, it ended up being right at 3, and i paid like 3 or 4 times before it was done to cover it. i went through a reseller
of their's, but straight through Dingwall i dunno if they do that? pretty sure most of 'em take deposits to get the work started.

I think you've been talking about it for 3-4 months. If you'd have put down a deposit 3-4 months ago, it'd've been home right now.
