So even if I get in on the preorder sale, it'll be either close to $500 or $540-ish for the whole shebang.
If I end up caving in and going through with it, I hope it's the best damn phaser in the whole fucking world.

$466 gets you FH and the small controller (if it ends up at $70), shipped free in the States (sorry Germans  ).

Hard to justify any pedal that costs this much, didn't even think I liked phaser, but here's my logic. Owned a Small Stone for years, used very sparingly, got Faye Sing and holyshitballz it seriously killed!

People are picky with phasers, never agree, but FS has a huge range of sounds (that I actually enjoy ie use) and tons of tweaking options in a small footprint. EXCELS with dirt/fuzz/anything really, no problemo, and of max importance. Many phasers do one sound well, the reason why I thought shit was boring I guess but the FS, for me, is a supreme phaser + the baddest phase'd Noisemaker ever! Double whammy-style action there.

Now comes this, and there's two in one box, still not too large, stereo options, sine/square wave options, more range and speed control, synching, inverse synching, etc, etc, etc, with a simple control set that I won't be annoyed by, maybe actually using pedal to a full-er potential ....so yeah, "IT CAN'T NOT RULE" is my feeling. Still, hard to justify buying it beyond the ol' it does WAY more than just phasing but that's actually accurate here.

I can't justify passing on presale discount either, so that's pretty much how I caved lol!

I'm OK with $70. $140 is a'ight, too, if it can control other pedals.

I feel you, man. I did it for the Time Line and never regretted it.....but the Time Line is like 12 great pedals rolled into one.

You are making my wallet very angry!

Seriously though, your argument is very strong for this pedal. I'm hoping it's a winner too, I just don't know if a Faye Sing makes more sense at this point...

if i had the money i'd be all the fuck in...the 14-stage Sonic Death Ray is/was geometrically more awesome than the 12-stage phasers i love, so sixteen stages of phasing (two eight-stage units synched) should be God on a motorcycle. you oughtta be able to swim right past Slowdive in that and off to Mars. and if you hate it, you can just tie it to your ankle and jump into the sea :hello:

I agree, if I had the scratch for this I'd be all over it, I bet the 2 sides out of sync is just about the greatest modulation ever, but my faye sing is good enough for me for now.

That's a valid point, I love the TL and it's effin' packed with features and sounds, tons for the $$. But I still had to drop $160 on a midi controller to get the full looper function goddammit and I'll never use all those sounds. Who cares though, it's badass!

I put this more on par with a Goatkeeper (but more expensive ;) ) Both really unique examples of a common single effect, easily covering all the standards but showcasing what it could be with a little imagination. It's hard to bite the bullet on these things but usually well worth it.

Unless we're talking about the Space that is.......
That was most def NOT worth it. It's sale funded my Timeline though thank the lordy.

Make no mistake, the Faye Sing rules and is plenty capable. Plus it's cheaper, smaller, and requires far less power, and still rocks the exp control. More plug and go kinda thing. Fuck, I'm keeping my FS too, not going anywhere, so I don't think you'll go wrong either way.

Word, Sonic Death Ray is killer! Haki let me borrow his (nice chap that he is  ) but honestly, I preferred my FS to it, esp after considering cost. I think the FH will OWN, hands down, and if it's as badass as it should be, Moog is the only one that could even begin to compete. What the fuck do I know though, I hated phasers until last year. :)

i wanna this pedal.
but i've got to follow my -no preorder- rule. (It always turns to sleepless nights so it's easier to avoid the drama with this simple rule)
4-10 weeks... i can wait.

looking forward to seeing them hit the stores.

These are direct only forever. A dealer cut would push the price well past $600 and that's just not right.
