That's a sweet deal on the cab and headshell, i'm considering ordering a headshell for my 300t, they hooked me up on my deal too, waaaayyy more than they were when i was just going to order a 2x15, i've gotta have mine shipped and the shipping price is ridiculous but soooo worth it.

I heard that the emperor guys are into skateboarding, can you confirm that? we are ordering some board blanks with designs on them for some bands on our drummers label including Ancient Astronaught, so i was gonna send them a board blank as a sign of appreciation.

That Dunwich sound's awesome, i had never heard of them until i saw mark's metro 50. I've been considering ordering a completely custom head, i was looking at verellen's for a while but i've heard mixed reviews from actualy buyers (not in tone but quality, i've heard of alot of repairs needing to be done) but I really like my reissue sunn heads, alot of people dislike them but i love the fender clean style preamp with the beast power sections, their rugged and reliable, plus it's hard to beat 300 watts of 6550 power and a custom head of similar build would be ridiculously expensive.

Yep, this new Oversize cab and headshell actually costs less than my original 2x12 alone, I was pretty stunned with that quote. My frequent buyer discount must be kicking' in! You should have 'em quote you a headshell price on top of your current order, could work out really well. I'm gonna come bearing gifts of appreciation as well, most likely cases of beer and some whiskey And yes', the guys are into skateboarding, bunch of boards all around the shop. I'm sure they'd love your gift idea!

I'd never heard of Dunwich either until Mark but I'm glad I did. Nick's build quality and designs are very impressive. Custom amp with upgraded components throughout, top notch everything and it's still coming in under $1500. Check out the Doom Room thread at HCFX, he posts a lot of build pics and new designs there, some cool stuff indeed.

I was also considering a Verellen but I've heard some of the same complaints you mentioned. Also excited to see what Emperor comes out with. I saw a bunch of 'em in different stages of development last time we visited and tried the 17W they had ready, which was super cool. I'll gauge my interest when prices are announced but based on Emperor's cab prices, I'm thinking they'll be an awesome value.

I might shoot them an email but im afraid im all ready tapping out my gear budget for the year so i may have to wait. Thanks for confirming that, i will definitely send them a board once we get them in, i'm amazed that it's only costing us around 11 dollars a board!

I'm really intrigued to see the Emperor heads as well, i'd be into a 150w Model T clone or a 200watt Hiwatt dr series clone. From waht they told me it won't be until the beginning of the year till we see any more progress on publicly available heads.

I know, those Dunwich prices are insane, I'm betting we'll see a steady rise as Nick gets bogged down with orders. I'll definitely get a pic up here asap.
