Yup I made the thread and message her on youtube that I did. I was hoping she would actually make an attempt to discuss about her gear but apparently not. Oh well

How hasn't this thread been locked yet? I've held off posting because I didn't want to contribute to such a clusterfuck of a thread, but this really has gone too far.
FBG is quite obviously as passionate about her pedals and guitar as much as everyone else here. And she also seems to know her shit too! She decides to post some demo vids and also have a little fun with them. Sure, some people may not like the "sexy" aspect, so just skip the talking parts. If you don't like the demos, don't watch. It's not rocket science! I honestly can't believe so many seem to have gotten a stick up their ass over this!
Like others, I'm just glad there are more demos out there of interesting pedals that aren't full of lawyer blues noodles.
Keep up the good work FBG, and welcome to ILF
Hopefully some of these chumps haven't upset you and you hang around, coz it's a pretty cool forum and I think you'd have a lot to contribute.

That's just it, she hasn't contributed anywhere but her self-promotion. No she didn't start the two threads about her, but has she posted anywhere else? Is she actually generating conversations about cool gear or fuzz boxes? That on top of generalizing guy demo'ers into guitar wankers just trying to show off, is what some are getting upset about.
Do I care? No. Will I watch the demos? Occasionally, if there's a pedal I'm interested in, or haven't heard 20 demos of already. Are people overreacting or bitching just to bitch? Yea, what else is new.
Those getting upset and saying "well you shouldn't watch them demos then," can heed their own advice and not read
those posts then if that's how you really feel. Pretend everyone likes everything you do, and no one ever disagrees

And no one's really hating on FBG at all, most posts are actually positive and welocming. It's like drama is being manufactured in here. I've only read one post where someone called her out directly and for good reason, she retorted calmly with an explanation, and it was over. Why all the bullshit chivalry?

Hahaha. Totally. There's been so much drama in the online gear world these days. Hopefully July will be a little more chill. Hopefully Strymon won't announce that the Timeline's release is going to be postponed leading to the apocalypse.
