How do you do a blend? Like between two effects in one enclosure.

You can literally just stick the two circuits in parallel with a pot to blend between them (one circuit to each of the outer lugs, then the wiper's the output), but then they can load eachother down and possibly interact in bad ways. If they both have high input impedance and low output impedance, it'll work OK. But that's usually not the case.

Better is to use a buffered splitter (literally just two buffers) to go to each circuits input, then buffer the outputs and blend them together with a pot.

Here's a project at runoffgroove:

Cool. This is going to come in handy for a project I have an idea for.

1 more question for now. I designed an overdrive/fuzz a little while back - the only circuit I've done that isn't a clone of something else. The issue I have with it, is when you switch on the fuzz part of the circuit there is a volume drop. I'd like it to either stay consistent or increase even, rather than decrease. What should I do?

I'd need to see the circuit, but you can always just slap a booster on the end of the circuit.

The circuit is similar to a Karaoke Party. It is less - gated I suppose is the correct word - and a bit cleaner, to allow for a lot more articulation of the notes. A center off switch turns on either of two dirt modes when flipped, one which is a rough fuzz, and the other which is almost a distortion.

I know that describing kinda what it is and what it does isn't as helpful as me putting up an image but I'm not home right now and without looking at it I don't quite remember the circuit.

Anyone know where to buy shielded wire?

And, clear pot condoms?

You can get shielded wire at Smallbear, or I actually have been using mini microphone wire.

I think the standard shielded wire for pedals is RG-174.

Cannot get a wah apart. It looks like the pedal part should snap off if you pry the edge slightly... the thing is I can't do that. I've already bent some tools, nails, etc.

I don't mean open it up. I meant how do you get the pedal part off the body. I want to repaint the whole thing.
