Behringer US600 is teh tits! I've had mine forever now and it's still going strong... Throw that thing in a Feedback loop and control it via an Expression pedal and you get the weirdest pitch fucking sounds evar. And it is surprisingly noiseless for a behringer... no hiss or other shit.

I feel the Arc Flash is underrated. It's perfect for low drive/gritty sounds and works better that way than any so-called "transparent" overdrive I ever tried. Plus it goes crazy if you flip the switch. Perhaps not super cheap but definitely affordable.

Yeah, the Arc Flash is a good one that you never see.
At one point I said I'd never sell it

The Tweak Fuzz is a pretty decent cheap fuzz. You can dial in some pretty nice tones with it. The only thing is that I with it had a bit more output.
Not sure what the price is for a brand-spankin-new one, but I got mine on sale at the local GC for around $50 if i remember correctly.

Added a rogue overdrive to my board
the old one I think they came out in the 90's
I remember the first one I had got gigged with for about 8 years and always worked well
my latest was 10 bucks on ebay plus some shipping and is a great low gain OD
gritty and responsive- just knocked an SD-2 off the board

Re: Best cheap/ under appreciated pedals
On the cheapz, I like the Ibanez de7 because of the super long delay times which you can create a wall of layered noises.
This thread is making me want another superfuzzy type pedal on the cheapz. Do you think I should get the behringer sf3000 or the guyatone tz-2? I want a superfuzz that can get really trebly and disgusting. A little less octave would be good so I'm leaning towards the behringer. Any thoughts? sorry to derail.

I mean, the behringer one is an FZ-2. Get the guyatone, it's mudfuzz approved. And smaller.

I find that, at least around here (guitar metalheads by the bajillions in Hong Kong), bass pedals of all kinds go underappreciated. They are almost always available on discount, and if you're like me -- I prefer thicker guitar sounds -- you might also prefer what bass pedals do to your guitar sound. I've gotten Roland Bass Chorus, Bass OD, and Bass Fuzz, each for about $35 US and prefer them to the guitar variants.

Ha that's a good point and I LOVE my guitar through most "Bass" pedals as well... THICK AND MEATY!!!
