This is really awesome. One track?

Haven't been on in a minute.
It's (if I remember right) 8 tracks. 3 are guitar abuse, 3 are field recordings destroyed by pedal/VST, and then 2 tracks of pedal/VST abuse of some exotic japanese bird samples.

Not my noise but my very good friend Angel Ortega's psychedelic, noise insanity. One of the few true experimentalists in this neck of the woods. Check it out. Download eet.

Did you have a looper going for the heavy part in the beginning?
Sounds awesome either way :thumb:

I don't know if this is noisy enough but it's not worth posting in the music thread :erm:
I felt like messing around. Each session feels better than the last.

I also feel like I'll look back on this, slightly embarrassed.

Thanks! I use a Line 6 USB thing with POD Farm for night playing, so this was 4 tracks that used its phaser, digital delay, (I think) the rotary horn and "cavernous" reverb models. Alone they aren't so hot but if you combine them it's passable. The main track, which is the last one to fade out, is just wanking around with the strings behind the nut and bridge, clean. The droney/buzzy stuff is my pedals through the delay set at like 20ms and with the lows rolled off.

The noisey stuff is a Verellen Big Spider, Mellowtone Melx2 and an Arc Flash into a Chk Chk Boom.

I use a Zoom Q3. I think there is an upgraded version now, but the audio on the one I have is excellent so no need to mess with it.

Once I get relocated I'm gonna attempt to get more miscreants for this thing. Gonna be steadied by a drum machine tracked to a four track. Other than that though complete meltdown.
Motherfuckers don't get weird enough these dayz.

Some upcoming track names:

Glam Buzzsaw
Police Scanner AMT
Crypt Report
Bear Pit Blues
Efficacy Of The Summoning
Teenage Exorcist
etc.

Addded a bunch of people from the thread, saved me abusing SC's godawful terrible search feature.

A couple samples that cross over into noise versus just plain wierd:

Everything is one electric guitar or other recorded wet through the wall of hardware effects; I'm not a software guy.
