My "one that got away" was a brand spanking new Reverend Rocco around the mid 2000s. I had never heard of them at the time and the guy only wanted $500 and that included the original hard shell case. Man, I still think about that guitar the way I think about some women...

If I may reverse the concept: I should never NEVER have sold that Megalith.
Also someone had a Moog Freqbox on eBay a couple of days ago and it sold for 160€.

Some idiot had a Gretsch Jet on ebay with the heading "Gretsch Vibrato" and a close-up of the vibrato. It went for 250 Euro. The description clearly said he was selling the whole guitar.
Edit: Well, 290 Euro, and the heading wasn't so very dumb.
