It's the Skullytone FX Russian SPi.

That's all I could come up with. Their myspace page links to vids and other pedals, but the SPi on that page has much lamer knob labels.

thats it right there. its a russian muff with every single mod known to man shoved in. its stuffed to the point there isnt room for a battery i wish i could remember what everything did. he told me in person and i was tryin to pay attention but i couldnt stop giggling at the knob and switch names. this basterd is awesome though.

so i built the one knob muff...

it's okay. it's still got that big muffy tone to it, but it's alot smoother and is actually a bit muddier.

so i'm gonna fuck around with some components and probably add more knobs.

I used 5088's in this version.

I have 2n2222's and 3904's let's see what combinations i come up with!

Cool, this one is on my "I wiyoull eventually within a few years build this"-list.. But is it the Heaviest Thickest Fuzz (or Muff) you've ever played?

Oddly enough, the biggest sound I've EVER gotten and have been trying to reproduce since I heard were a mix of these two things.




I have no idea how I did it either.
Plus both are long gone.

I emailed the dude from Earthbound Audio, and he told me that the Centurion sounds a lot more like Pike's HoF sound off their Blessed Black Wings stuff. You might want to check that out.

Those are awesome fuzz (shitty wah though, like all the 70s Japanese wahs I've ever seen). It's a Standard Fuzz, very similar to a Super-Fuzz but I like em betterer.

I still like the wah part. It's good for whale mating sounds

Big fat clean blend boosting the hell out of a Wren and Cuff Pickle Pie B.

Totally useless tone in a band mix (for me), but man, was that fun at home.
