went up to Sebastopol to visit some friends up there who have a band and who i've been visiting/jamming with for years. unfortunately, i left the credit card which had the money i needed on it to get enough gas to get there and back at home. thus, my evening ended with running out of gas not once but twice, the latter iteration of which left me standing on the shoulder of a four-lane highway with a flashlight whilst waiting for AAA to come and save my ass. i finally finished the trip home, which should take about two hours and forty-five minutes, at just about 3:30 AM, twenty minutes ago...four and a half hours after i left Marc and Karen's barn.

Went to record some demos today on Logic, turns out my Tascam interface doesn't want to work with Mac's new OS. Fuck Tascam, man.
Settling for super compressed iPhone video instead. Just not the same. I really don't want to have to buy a new interface, but that looks like it might be the case.
