I kind of vanished for a bit from ILF. I'm still alive.
Actually, I just got a full time job that's only a block from my house at a Dunkin Donuts. I work until noon every day, and I'm putting in ~40 hours/week. I might actually be able to break even soon.
AND, I busked with my drummer this weekend, and between us, we made $46.

Pathological optimism makes me uncomfortable.

We probably shouldn't ever hang out, then. My wife says I'm optimistic almost to a fault.

I was talking about beards with someone earlier and was going to post this as a response, but I decided it was weird. So, I'll post it here.
It's magic.
x^6+3 x^4 y^2-3 x^4+3 x^2 y^4-x^2 y^3-6 x^2 y^2+3 x^2+y^6-3 y^4+3 y^2-1 = 0
Now, if you had a graphing calculator that supported implicit functions, you'd be flippin' you mother flippin' lid in slight amusement.

Wrote a cool song wooo. It's weird, it seems like all the songs I write that I enjoy the most lately are quiet acoustic songs. This one even features a capo!!

Signed the lease on my first apartment. I'm pumped to play board games all the time with my new roommate.

Nah man, we go way dorkier than that. We've been playing this game called Cosmic Encounter for the past month or so and it is amazing. ALIENS & GALACTIC DOMINATION. My roommate has already bought all three expansion packs that have been released

Ooo which reminds me, tomorrow we are playing Cosmic Encounter and I invited my ex (things were great with us but broke up because of distance) and she said she'd love to come. I haven't seen her in over a year, I don't even care what happens, it will just be so nice to spend time with her again.

Nah man you gotta go with Twilight Empirium. Six hours minimum game-time not including setup!

That looks more tedious than fun

but really I dig shorter games (i.e. less than 2 hours), because you can play more than one or a different game and I don't have to be the guy who bails because he's bored. Unless it's risk, I'd stick that one out.
