nope. we got there with like 3 songs left from DesthHeaven, and again, not talking shit they're just not my kind of music, but even if i lurved As I Watch You i would have kinda been pissed if i had to sit through the whole set for DH. kinda worrked well this way.

Russian Circles were SICK. they only played 1 song i didn't recognize (i still havna listened to the newest album), and they played every single one that i love. we ended up finding a spot on the balcony where we were about 15-20 feet above them but parralel with them. could MAD see everything going on, and the bass player was WORKING. he had a tabletop synth that looked kinda like an Electribe that he was doing this cool thing i might try to steal where he as playing and kinda made a hook upout of his left hand so a knuckle was pointing out then leaning over the synth and smacking his hand down to play pads that had piano mapped to them. neat. he did a lot of playing with non synth gear, mashed a LOT of pedals, was doing some very cool volume/whammy swell stuff that sounded kinda organy.

i LIKED them.
