Awesome pictures from the first ever FUZZIFER gig by the Finnish metal band photographer Toni Salminen. A fun fact: Bass Frenzy #2, another night of thee bass guitars on stage. FUZZIFER opened for my old band Cantata Sangui I found in 1996 and left for family reasons a few years ago, when I had no time for doing gigs and stuff. According to the blown away band mates of old, the audience, and to the photographic evidence it was a kick ass comeback on stage.
Yeah.

AWESOME

You put FUZZIFER together pretty quick from idea to playing shows, from my perspective. (I'm still trying to find folks to play with,

) Congrats!

Thanks, man, but it really depends on the perspective. I had been doing demos on my own for some time after leaving my old bands for the classical 'family reasons' and originally I was aiming for a solo album with a little help from my rather enthusiastic friends around. However, on the way to this embodiment of the project FUZZIFER, I've had my share of false starts, cancellations, delays, and plain broken promises.

Comes with working with people, I guess. And plans had to be changed. But now that stuff started happening... yeah, sure it's been rolling.
I started talking in December about the Bass Frenzy shows concept with bass player frinds, the band schedules were set and the Club booked for May in February already, and at this point I started headhunting for the band members. First two or three weeks were nothing short of even more cancellations when schedules or working methods were not met. A chosen #2 bass player had his whole gear stolen - basses, amps, cabs, and the dozen of pedals....
Eventually a line up was found, mutual love for the project was explicated and we moved on with our schedules and all the other stuff we're doing. the drummer was putting out FOUR recordings this spring-summer, plus he has a job besides his import business and he also had a trip to India scheduled. And the bass player plays in three other bands/projects, was involved with the recording sessions of the drummer and has a day job, too. We played four rehearsals only, as a band, and were already ready for the stage so yeah, that's kind of pretty efficient at least, if not fast

wonderful, that's how noisy noise devices are played - the way Jimi did play his!
Compare to my Cliff Burton homage:
