HOLY FUCK I NEED THAT JOB.

I'd pull so many bros.

If you're lucky, you could even get a job as the guy who spills paint all over the cargo shorts.

Damn, I'm so desperate for a job, I seriously am considering applying at Hollister and a bunch of other stupid stores that are at every mall ever now that you mention it.

I just wanted to post here and say that i went this past night from feeling on top of the world to feeling like I was just a fucking worthless speck in this fucking thing we call life. I had been talking to this girl for awhile and I decided to man up and ask her to prom. Somehow my low-self esteemed self
mustered up the courage to ask for her number and I called her. I asked her and she said yes. I felt like a champ, I was so fucking happy. She then asked the date and I told her. She said she had to go and she told me she'd text me what's up. I didn't think anything till I came back from the kitchen to my phone on my computer desk-------it said she had a play that same day.

I'm going to be honest, I don't cry, I haven't cried in years. Well when I read that tears went down my face and I just sat there and laughed. I was like I fucking knew it. Why did a loser like me think I'd be able to go out with a girl like that? I pretty much decided I was going to give up a lot of shit. I was goingto stop playing music for sure. And I just feel fucking terrible because I feel like I ruined any chance of anything happening between me and her by that moment. Now when I think of her I think she's laughing at me. And I feel like if she still wants to go out another time it's not really about feelings anymore, but I'll be the charity case. And I've decided to not go to prom.

Sorry for this huge long/sad/poorly written story, but I just had to tell you guys because I feel fucking terrible. Goddammit I ruined my chances with her!!!! I'm completely brainwashed about the charity case thing now too.

Duder, you're thinking about this too much and too pessimistically. If she has a play then it's an obligation she has to keep. She wouldn't have said yes if she didn't want to go. It's not what you wanted, but it's not hopeless.

My recommendation, if the whole prom thing doesn't happen, no big deal, show up at the play with flowers for the lady. Tell her how awesome she was, give her a bit of space to be around the rest of the play types, then either ask her out again, or go do something at that moment if the opportunity arises. Like I said though, theater types are notoriously cliquey especially right after a performance, so don't take it personally if she goes off with a bunch of other people.

Prom is no big deal. The only reason it matters is because we think other people think that it matters. I took a sophomore to my senior prom and we were just friends(or at least I thought so, but that's another story). And don't let bitches get you down. I know what it's like to get your hopes up with a girl you really like then have them get crushed. They don't do it on purpose and they aren't aware of it because most of it is in your head. The charity case thing sounds like nonsense to me. This bitch wants to slobber on your knob and she knows it. Now, whenever you get nervous just repeat, "knob slobber" over and over in your head. It's your confidence mantra.

If this doesn't work just remember that you'll bounce back. The best way to get better with women is to completely embarrass yourself or have your heart trampled on a number of times. You start to fear it less, and fear is really the only enemy.

you can't let people get you down. that's why relationships are difficult, if you let someone in it doesn't mean you have to change or have their reality impose upon yours, even though it seems that way. any decision she makes is just a result of the human condition. i think you should keep playing music. but even more then that i think you should do what is in your plan, and not the plan she creates for you. women are hard to please in relationships i find. but that maybe just me.

I got stood up at prom but i just got drunk and hooked up with this chick that was taking this dude "as friends". I was a jerk about it and made her ditch him so we could go to the party. I probably should have been nicer about it but i was feeling hurt and vulnerable so I wanted to make sure somebody else felt just as bad. What snips says about getting your heart trampled is true. Girls like to talk about how all men are bastards but if you look at it its always some girls fault. In the beginning were all just stupid and gullible and the first girl that really likes us is always a game playing bitch.

When you get older you'll realize how ridiculous it was to react that way
and then you'll think "man how much I've changed" it happened to me
and it will happen to you its called growing up.

This sentence irritates me almost as much as the phrase "overcoming adversity."

just to add my $0.02...it may take some time, but in hindsight, you'll realize that the prom really isn't that significant...it's not like you'll make new friends there..you'll just end up seeing the friends you already have in a less-than-flattering light...It's really just an extension of the horrible HS drama-circus :erm:  :erm:

You irritate me  life is hard things don't always go your way get over it
there are way worse things that can happen not to go on a rant but it just seems
like people are too sensitive nowadays when something happens to them they freak
out regardless of how trivial some situations are.
