Yep.

i could tell you about how i narrowly avoided a terrible fate involving bong wine--yes, that's right, wine used in a water pipe for some unknown period of time which people then intended to DRINK--but you can probably already tell where this is going. it wasn't pretty.

back when we were 19 i watched my buddy pull a 2" glass bong packed with crushed red pepper... have never seen anyone cough that much in my life...

thats right, phil didnt smoke and was trying to prove some point about how silly pot was...

we all told him not to do it!

Mecha Shiva jammed with a metal guitarist today. He was a cool kid and had some talent,...but he had stars in his eyes (this is Spokane for fuck sake). I wish him the best of luck,...but I don't think that's the route that Mecha Shiva wants to go down.

I'm happy,...not having people at our shows.

Well,...happy isn't the word,...apathetic maybe.

On the flipside we discovered a local duo called Space Movies that is roughly doing the same thing as Mecha Shiva,....we'd fit on a bill really well with those guys, perhaps even have a two band show and fill up a whole night...maybe even do some improv collab work.

At first I thought you meant they packed the bong with crushed red pepper not the slide. I was thinking, "Man that's like $30 of cayenne just to pull pot smoke through. Wouldn't that just get clogged???"

Never heard of bong wine, but I have heard of a tincture made by soaking a bunch of stems in vodka for a couple months. Supposedly it's all black and gross, it's incredibly disgusting to drink but get's you all kinds of fucked up with a very small amount.
