I was chucking to myself this morning as I thought about making a thread titled "WTF GUYS MY $36 PEDAL SOUNDS NOTHING LIKE MY $425 PEDAL". The first post would have been "What's the problem here? Why can't I get my $36 pedal to sound like my $425 one? Gawddammit!!!!"

If hilarity ensued I was going to reveal I was trying to make a DigiDelay sound like an Infinite Jets.

Lately I've had a few snarts so violent I went to check my pants afterwards, but I was totally in the clear. I haven't had any Arby's in over a week, but it still makes me nervous.

Corey, the other day I got a Boss Metalcore for $27. I thought I was getting a great deal but then I plugged it in...and it sounded nothing like my WMD Protostar. What...the...fuck!? This is fucking bullshit.

Getting real tired of these 'corporate honchos' promising affordable alternatives. My OD-3 sounds nothing like my Dream Sequence. Capital H...HORSESHIT!!!

But seriously, every shart concerns me. On another note I have dubbed myself an "Arby's Tier" gear hoarder. What is an "Arby's Tier" gear hoarder you ask? Consumption to the point of self-loathing and subsequent nihilism.

Maybe you have the plugs reversed. I've been trying to figure out how to make this Boss SD-1 sound like one of them there PLL's you all talk about so much, but it only gets me about 97% of the way there.

I understood what you meant without explanation. Wienerschnitzel Level would work for that too. Although I've never bought pedals on my way home from work, then played with them alone in my car, parked on a street between an empty field and a building with no windows, listening to podcasts, feeling constantly on the verge of weeping but unable to produce tears.

But seriously I got my phantom arcade yesterday and ended up playing with it on the couch in my underpants till my girlfriend got home. The pedal I mean.

If that was going to be a thread, I wanted to eventually switch it up to a poster complaining they can't do the inverse. "I paid $425 for this fucking thing and it can't do what my DigiDelay does!? Who do I call from Hologram!? I am appalled...APPALLED! Sick of this crrrrrrrrapp!"
