I havent met any die hard tame impala fans, so maybe it's different here. I kinda like them. I totally get what mechag is talking about though.

To be honest, I p[iss and moan because its only the shit that floats in Australia.
There are a dozen truly terrifying bands whose take on the psych thing is both fresh and terrifying and its the Beatles cover band for Gen Y (cashing in because Gen Y are too fucking ignorant to have even heard of, let alone listened to that period of the Beatles) that get to make a living out of music in the country where that is impossible.
