I made a mistake. Covered it up. Wiped away the evidence. There is no other damage. No one knows. My boss is restoring an old truck for something, he is sort of a redneck without the racial hostility you would expect out of the stereotype, just a guy who lives getting dirty, trucks, hunting, fishing, etc. Anyway, a newly painted truck boody has been sitting on pallets in our parking lot for over a week. I was trying to leave one dark morning and forgot it was there as I pulled out next to it, so I clippied it with my bumper. It made a huge sound as one side fell off the pallets onto the ground, but no one was outside at the time to notice. I pushed it back on to the pallets and no damage was found in the dark. Returned that evening and saw some black marks from my bumper. After everyone else left I was able to use a rag to wipe of the black plastic marks. No dents or anything. Phew. My boss has a history of disorganization and parking things wherever he wants. Six months ago his son hit his old truck in their driveway because my boss parked it in a bad spot, but it was his son's fault, right? That kind of thing.

Reminds me of another time I dinged to door on a nice pickup truck about 10 years ago. Pulled into a parking lot to meet a bunch of guys for lunch. Parked right next to an expensive-looking redneckified pickup truck. As I got out the wind ripped the door from my hand and slammed into the door of the truck. It was pretty bad. Decided the best thing to do was not leave a note or anything, looking by the truck this guy would just kick my ass rather than be cool about getting it fixed. So I pulled out of that spot and found a new spot away from the truck. Sat in the restaurant and watched 30 minutes later as two guys left and headed to the truck. They didn't notice anything and hopped in and drove off. I felt so guilty of not taking that ass kicking that day. Not cool all around.

What is it? I can't see anything but the word "Image". When I quoted it, I could see the URL in the editor, but when I copied and pasted it into my browser WordPress slapped me down with a "403: Access Denied" error.

So...you're confessing to beating up a referee and eating tacos made from sheep that dance and play basketball wrestle?

Excellent, good job. :excellent:

Edit: Wait...I'm confused about what's actually going on there.

I just read the best film review of my life and it was an Amazon troll. Just know some people (me) appreciate that brand of humor.

 Thanks, $harky. I was actually trolling a couple of nitwits who wrote reviews trashing a book I think is brilliant. It's a technical book that was obviously way over their heads, but instead of accepting that they bought a book they weren't qualified to read, they just bashed the crap out of the book and the author instead. One of them even made up a little fantasy about what he thinks the author's qualifications were. He could have Googled the author and found out everything he needed to know, but instead he just made up a silly little story.
