Hey everyone. I don't post here much but I thought of you guys when I found these pedals at NAMM

I am not affiliated with the builder in anyway. I don't work there. Don't get paid. Don't get a free pedal. Nothing. But u gotta check out Massive FX

I think I've seen their stuff before, somewhere.
:erm: Hopefully the insides aren't Devi Ever-esque like the graphics are.

Oliver says the Waveformer II doesn't have a firm ETA and will likely be a limited release. If the V1 was $270, I wonder if this one will be $299 or higher.

Probably the same price as the Evil Filter ($380 MSRP) since they use unnecessarily gigantic circuit boards for all their pedals. :idk:

Since it's gonna be LE, I wouldn't be surprised if they immediately shoot up to ~$500 once they sell out.

I'm so drawn to that pedal on a visual level but sadly, even "I" can't rationalize another distortion  Can someone here make something with those awesome switches, please?
Kind of happy it's LE because it only helps in my 'missing it' when it drops. Real shame for people looking to get one though that would actually use it.

I did not realize that this is basically their attempt at making an environment similar to Pure Data in a pedal format (like that Axoloti race to the pedalboard but with more colors and less computer programming).

This could be very handy for when you need something for a specific application but don’t need it all the time. Seems like a really weird thing to have on a pedalboard, but it makes complete sense for tabletop or synth folks.

I could definitely see plenty of pedalboard applications if you have a midi/preset controller.

Stick a dirt sandwich around this, maybe your favorite delay/reverb, and use this for everything else. It said in the video you can set the footswitches to turn on and off individual things within the patches, so I could set up a patch with a reverb, pitch shifter, and tremolo if I needed that for one song, then leave the reverb on and use each individual footswitch for the other two.

Then when that song is over, next preset for the next song. No more buying a tremolo for one song.

I would look at this more like the ultimate bitquest.

I wanna see a board with Zoia, a tuner, and a fuck. Or an RM-1N.

That’s true. I don’t particularly like flangers but I love that metallic clang every now and again. So, I could see using this to get one when I need it. Get this and a patchulator, and you could do whatever you want with whatever you want.
