i'd love to have seen that. i don't suppose there's much of a chance they'll come over here?

Unfortunately it doesn't look like it.

there are too many UK acts who never make it over here. i'd harm someone for a chance to see Manic Street Preachers.

i guess the next thing i'm going to is Richard Thompson, who's coming here in November. this is an electric trio tour, which i'm quite looking forward to as the last time i saw him with a band rather than solo acoustic was like 1992.

you know what's weird? we've had noticeably more national-level artists playing here since Nazi Weekend. i think that having Charlottesville in the news made dome people go "you know, we've never played there, and it's a university town and everything."

It is one of my goals in life to see a show at Red Rocks. That place looks fucking amazing. If that show could be a NIN show, I would be in heaven

I got to pee next to Richard Thompson at one of his solo acoustic shows. It was pretty neat.

it's gonna be Classic Rave Music Autumn here at the House of Dub. the Orb are in DC in November, and Orbital will be in Brooklyn in December.

She has a very good live band right now, with Weasel Walter, Tim Dahl and Bob Bert. They play stuff from throughout her career and sometimes covers (Alice Cooper, Suicide).

Child Abuse is one of the best live acts ever.

their pedal set ups (for bass, keys and vox) are something else:

the Orb tomorrow night! i cocked up and bought tickets for Brooklyn rather than DC the following night, but NY crowds are more fun than DC crowds anyway.
