Wow--missed this--very interesting....
I think it is neat with the switchable random modulation, but I think it is missing something to take it to the next level. I don't know if it has exp control or not.

Why do I drop $100 at the drop of a hand for a pedal yet staunchly hold off from getting a $100 dollar iPad keyboard that I've been wanting for far longer?

Because one day that keyboard will break or slowly be made incompatible with modern devices because of the rapid advancement of operating systems and computer technology in general, but fuzz is forever.

What was the first pedal that had art on it? When did people start wanting/putting pictures on their effects instead of just text? The first ones I remember were ZVEX, menatone, and those really expensive pedals with the cartoon kid that was going to punch somebody that I have never seen anyone use.

Did it start as a personal custom thing and the companies copied or did a company start putting pictures/art and then other people copied when it was successful?

Just curious

I guess, but maybe I always considered things like the bad stone as more of a logo for the pedal, I dunno. Maybe I am just thinking too hard (and maybe their's was always more logoish instead of jsut a cool picture). Was there any before that?

But, yea, I blanked on EHX a bit. haha.

And I know they attract more attention and I know why they do it, just wondering like when it took off.

I guess it depends on how you define it, but the Pi on the Big Muff is 'art'?

OK, Judder GAS has burst like a fever blister, :barf: Really. I'm alright, I think. :zen:

I'm in the saddle with a Ct5 preorder. I've got my little...experiments. Traded for a Koma BD-101. Who needs a Judder? Ah, who am I kidding?

Actually, my Judder GAS is less--it's my Raptio/DD-2/3/5/6 GAS that's getting bad.... :excellent:

Cant figure put what modle guitar this was, but I saw a beautiful SG today that was blonde/butterscotch, had cream P90s with huge pickup rings, no pickguard, german carve, and possibly a matching headstock. Was too far away to get a picture. Wish I could find it online.

Trying to sell off excess pedals for either a Timeline or BigSky. I just want a pedal that I can tweak for hours and hours and not get bored.... On one hand with the timeline I would have the looper... But the BigSky may be more useful for me... Torn. And it's not like any of my stuff has sold recently to even have money

I was in the dilemma that I only ended up playing around with the only non wanky sounds (analog/tape/hall/spring) that you can just buy. I don't know, I play a lot of ambient - but it's too easy to get way too over modulated and pad-like. Reminds me why I stopped liking Prog Metal. :idk:
