I get both sides. I'm for one thread or a sub forum. That way you guys aren't clogging the fucking place with your demos. hahahaha. But really, it's whatever. I could go either way. Catch my double meaning. EITHER WAY.

after giving it some thought i'm against a subforum, but a sticky mega thread would be nice since ILF is keen on demos. I agree a seperate subforum would further compartmentalize our forum, and I think we should be forced to interact with each other

I don't know if anyone cares what I think about the demo issue, but in some ways I like the individual demo threads because I kinda know what I am getting into with each poster. However, if it turns into "here I am dicking around with my pedal board, new posts daily" it should be moved to the music board or something. I also like the centralized Mudfuzz-made thread where random demos can go. I wouldn't be opposed to a subforum though, either.

Personally, I really don't want to make demos because I think I am rather terrible at it, but I get asked a lot to make demos because some of the gear that I own have no demos. I guess, for now, Mudfuzz's thread is the best place for me and a lot of other people. I also think that specific demo threads like Excane's, UG's, Knobs, and Eivind's Osc Fuzz one should stay. It's all part of the ILF character and there really isn't that many anyway (not as many as those "I like X but want it to do Y, find me something that doesn't exist" threads, which I thought was solved by the "Whatever" thread but I don't know).
